Reze cosplay

Hey everyone! This drawing might come as a surprise because this time I drew my beginner cosplayer friend, who was cosplaying Reze from Chainsaw Man.
The reason I chose this piece is that I want to start experimenting with a new drawing approach. Instead of drawing only the original characters, I'll be drawing real people in cosplay while keeping their own body type, height, and natural proportions. My goal is to observe how each costume fits the person wearing it, rather than simply copying the original character's appearance. Of course, I'll make small adjustments where needed. For example, if the original character is tall and slim but the cosplayer is shorter and has a fuller build, I'll adapt the costume and proportions accordingly while still keeping the character instantly recognizable. I think this makes the artwork feel more authentic and highlights the individuality of each cosplayer instead of trying to force everyone into the exact same silhouette. This won't be the only piece in this style I already have plans to create more artwork featuring other cosplayers. Since Mondocon was held last week, I had the perfect opportunity to photograph and meet several amazing cosplayers, so I'll be drawing more of them using this method as well. And of course, everything will be done with the cosplayers' permission and after discussing it with them beforehand. When each artwork is finished, I'll also include the original reference photo alongside the drawing in my post and make sure to properly credit and tag the cosplayer.
