A painting I did almost two years ago and never updated here! At least I don't think I did, unless it's hiding from me Anyway, acrylic on canvas, this subject because a Cheetah is one of my favorite wild animals, I wanted one as a pet when I was little. Plus the last time I painted a Cheetah was in high school for a mural on a wall of the grade school, so I wanted to paint it again, just for myself.

Really pretty! Very nice warm colors and scenery, and the art nouveau frame works great here! I love how the cheetah is sitting on this side, as if the frame really does exist in the reality of what's depicted in the painting, as opposed to being "just" decoration. Lovely brushwork and textures on the sky and clouds as well!

Thank you for the comment! I am pretty happy with it overall, I had originally intended to include the tail wrapping around the bottom but ran out of room lol. Thanks again for looking!
