She was walking
In the middle of the road
Falling
Red rose petals braided in the mess
of her hair
The dorns pricking her
Trailing a path of blood behind her
She raised a hand to her chest
Still feeling no beat
Sitting on the warm asphalt
Watching the sunset
The world drowning in shades of
red and orange
Chugging down the bottle of
golden whiskey
Loving the way in burned in her throat
A car heading towards her
Last minute swerving
Avoiding killing her
Killing the girl who flirts with death
Lonely road
