And where she laid her head at night
Became temporarily her new home
On the terrace, alone, embarrassed
Diamond eyes, color moonstone
Lady of lambent, your radiance flickers
Like last drip, on candle wick
Facade of smiles drown in cordial liquors
Life's not what you make it, but how you handle it
Delicate, petite, discreet in vacuous streets
Opticals of obdurant, obstacles with consequence
Stubborn plagues a rightous soul
I pray you find your home
Lady of the Night

with a title like that I'm all over that poem. loved it for sure...fave rhyming was flickers/ liquors (not knickers or lick yours the obvious choices 🤣😂). You are so thrilling to read. I knew you'd get some philosophy in too with the Life line 😉 nice ending 👌👏👏 true gent.

I can ask for nothing more than that satisfaction of poet to poet relatability. honestly I think that's what makes poetry/writing so powerful is when a connection is made within the reader and the writing. that's pretty amazing thank you so very much for sharing this with me 🙏🏻❤️
