Identity is a mechanical accident—memory, genetics, and impulse pretending to be “us”—so passion and ideals are but hallucinations in the meaningless void. Still, our feelings chain us tightly to meaning, approval, and dreams--that chain will drown us in pain and insanity until we lose, becoming trapped and weak. In Woodside Tales, there is no such trap. There is a dry man‑eating beast, an over‑eager robot technopath, an optimistic slasher and their chaotic chemistry. In a forest where devouring people is routine and murder is part of a hobby, the trio's killer shenanigans are a promise of upfront chaos and release. First issue here:
