Another sketch of the undead tern familiar. Messing with its wings a bit to give it a bit a bit of fantasy flair, as its not really meant to be any particular tern species.
Actual pencil for a change as I was missing traditional a bit.

Hats off to such singular dedication to detail - all those little wrinkles and lines around the skull especially. I was *wondering* where those came from. I've never seen a tern up close, so I have no idea if the real birds have them or not. But then, rereading the description - undead, right? It's a zombie tern? So that makes more sense.

Thanks! If its the detail at the back of the skull your referring to, its the feathers. I only wanted the skull's eye sockets and beak to visible. Otherwise its just detail and shading.
