Well, I can tell you what's next: You, chasing something random that you believe makes you happy.

It's all a façade. A hoax. A story that's been made up.

Did Aristotle lie to us when he said:

"Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence."

I think we have to look at that quote from a different angle. Because when you read it, you think that happiness is the main goal. And that's kind of what the quote says as well.

Over-Abundance of Information

Friedrich Nietzsche once said that our happiness consists of the possession of a non-negotiable truth. Today, we no longer have such non-negotiable truths. Instead, we have an over-abundance of information.

I am not sure that the information society is a continuation of the Enlightenment. Maybe we need a new kind of enlightenment. On a new enlightenment, Nietzsche noted: “It does not suffice that you realize the ignorance in which humans and animals live, you also have to have the will to be ignorant and learn more.

Defining A Digital Nomad

Digital nomads are people who attempt to gain freedom by travelling while working. This clearly distinguishes between them from business travellers who travel for work and tourists.

Many digital nomads work for clients or companies in a way that is very similar to other more sedentary workers. However, digital nomads are more likely to have an entrepreneurial attitude.

Digital nomads tend to think that they need to be “switched on” to work opportunities all the time.

The Game

Why can't you just leave me alone
Just stay out of my life, it's too hard w/ you here
I have somebody else now
Somebody I can actually hold near
Do I want you back?
Why ask a question you already know
I still love you with everything I have
I don't think I will ever be able to let you go
Sometimes I can't hold back the memories of you
Remembering what you do makes me cry
I'd give anything to have you here
Forgetting your face makes me want to die
I've never had anything as good as you
But with all good comes bad
I will never have anyone love me like you
I wish we still had what we had
You want me back and you make it sound so easy
Break up with him and it'll be like it used to be?
If only I knew you could make your words come true
I'd do anything if you could just make me see
Don't hurt me anymore, I can't do it
It's not as easy as it sounds, you're killing me
I'm going to hurt regardless
Just leave me alone, and let things be
I'll love you forever, you know I will
If only I knew your love was the same
One more tear over you will leave me dry
If only I were up for the game

Mexico: Capirotada

Recipes for capirotada — a bread pudding served on Good Friday — vary across the country, but it's usually made from:

  • Bread similar to a baguette (bolillo), which has been soaked in mulled syrup made from sugar, cinnamon sticks, and cloves.
  • Nuts, dried fruit, and sprinkles are common toppings.

Capirotada is meant to signify the crucifixion: the cinnamon sticks represent the cross, the cloves represent the nails, and the bread represents Christ's Body.
