AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura was beautiful. I’m talking about one of the most beautiful experience I’ve had in a minute. It wasn’t the greatest match of all time, but it isn’t always about that and y’all know that. Both men worked a classic, damn near picture perfect match and how beautiful is it that they worked the match everyone was looking forward to this entire time in their last one. From the jump Shinsuke was working extremely stiff. AJ was working the limbs like you’d rarely see in 2026 and through that they incorporated the story of how the Gunther match impacted AJ. That long Calf Crusher sequence where he held onto that shit and wrenched it without mercy. Just a masterclass man, might be a personal 5 for me in my heart. Extremely grateful to be able to see matches like this for the last time. -
