Take Risks

Creativity is often the result of taking risks. It requires stepping outside of your comfort zone and experimenting with new approaches. This can be intimidating, but it's important to remember that failure is a natural part of the process. In fact, some of the greatest innovations in history have been the result of failed experiments. By being willing to take risks and learn from your mistakes, you can develop your creative abilities and grow as a person. So, don't be afraid to try new things and take risks. The more you do, the more you'll learn and the more successful you'll become.

Hope in life

I had hope
I should of known it was lie
I knew it wouldn't last
I knew someone was lying to me
I knew it
why did I believe you
why did I believe her
I believed
cause I have dreams
I have hopes
but why have hope
hope is pointless
hope will only cause me to break more
so I give up hope
I will leave this hope of find loving
I will leave all hope behind
I will slowly die
for hope was all that I had in life
hope...
is a dream

Findings by Jerome Frank, a Professor of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins and Pioneer in Research on the Effects of Psychotherapy
  1. Frank’s research convinced him that the specific theoretical framework of a given therapy has little to do with its effectiveness.
  2. The most important factor is the therapist’s ability to induce the placebo effect, by convincing patients that they will improve.
  3. Many patients respond to therapists and therapies with scientific status, Frank noted, but others might prefer a faith healer, witchdoctor or shaman to a Harvard-trained psychiatrist.
  4. Frank spelled out this perspective in his influential 1961 book Persuasion" target="_blank" class="inline-link">https://findings.org.uk/do... and Healing: A Comparative Study of Psychotherapy.

The most important sentence in any writing: the first one

  • If it doesn’t induce the reader to proceed to the second sentence, your work is dead. Of such a progression of sentences, each tugging the reader forward until he is hooked, a writer constructs that fateful unit, the “lead.”

  • Do not count on the reader to stick around. Readers want to know very soon what’s in it for them.

Why I Do It

Some things we do and we wonder why
We wish we could say why we did it
If you think about it you already know
You just don't want to admit it
You climb so high and wish to come down
When you're down you wish you were up
The worst feeling you could imagine
Wait till your down and you want back up
Pray to forget your life one more minute
It's all you need to get through the day
Kill yourself inside when you think
Wanting to be there all day
You're there and you wonder why
Why is this what you want
You're down and it kills you inside
And you realize it's all you want
Let me forget you, let me forget everything
I know its killing me, everything is
I hurt myself one way or the other
Right now, it doesn't matter what it is
