The Tesla Model 3 challenges

Tesla almost went bankrupt in its pursuit to automate manufacturing and achieve volume production. The problem wasn't that they overestimated how much they could automate. Instead, they had issues with almost every aspect of the Model 3 production line, from cells to packs to motors to final assembly.

Tesla is the first car startup since the 1920s that reached production without going bankrupt. Elon lived in the factories for three years. He slept on the floor so that the team who was going through a hard time could see that he didn't just sit in his ivory tower. He was in it with them.

10. The Amber Room was recreated at Tsarskoe Selo

• The Soviet administration miscalculated the scale and complexity of recreating the Amber Room at Tsarskoe Selo in 1979. During St. Petersburg's 300th anniversary, the rebuilt Amber Room debuted in 2003 despite budgetary and craftsman shortages.
• The replica uses 350 colors of amber from the original panels and is ornately crafted by craftspeople.

Racial Microaggressions

Racial microaggressions are subtle and often inadvertent messages sent to people of color by "well-intentioned" white people that are unaware of the hidden meanings sent to them. Basically, unconsciously acting with bias.

Microaggressions (e.g., a higher tendency to interrupt people of color who are speaking, ignoring input from people of color, or displaying cold or hostile nonverbal behaviors) manifest racism directly—so much so that some scholars and practitioners have begun using the term racial harassment, in place of microaggression, to convey the seriousness of their impact.
