Spotting A Fast Fashion Brand

A few key factors that have the stamp of fast fashion:

1. Thousands of different styles, most of the latest trends.


2. Short turnaround time.


3. Outsourcing of manufacturing to cheap, low-wage countries.


4. A limited quantity of products.


5. Usage of cheap material like polyester, making the garments non-durable.

Complicated

I want to give you everything
Its you I want to hold

On something that may not be

Why am I still waiting?

I sit on my bed staring at the clock,
Where are you?
It then strikes half past two,
when will you call?
three o'clock and you still haven't called,
Why am I still waiting?
I've sat here since one pm or earlier,
I'm sick of these games you play.
Tampering with my trust in you and making me feel not wanted,
I'm done with this.
But if I'm sick of all this then why do I stick around?
I love you.
You finally call at pm and I'm ready to let you go,
But I want to know where you were.
So where were you while I waited around for you?
You then say you just forgot.
I think about it all while I listen to Numb by Linkin Park
Which reminds me a little of us.
A month passes and I hear from you yet again,
You want my heart to belong to you once more.
Stupid me let's myself fall back in love with you
I know it won't last forever.
I now feel for someone other than you and it is not fair.
So I say goodbye once again.
A couple weeks later, all I think about is you,
Please let me try one more time.
That is all I ask,
Just one date.

Less independence and autonomy

American children have less independence and autonomy today.

• Parents have become more concerned with safety.
• Parents run the risk of being charged with neglect for letting children walk unsupervised.
• Some parents usher their children from one structured activity to the next, leaving little time to play, experiment, and make mistakes.

Kids who have autonomy and independence are less likely to be anxious. They are more likely to grow into self-sufficient adults.

I know it's not the way I think of it
but I can't help but think of it that way

knowing you are too soon to leave

While spending your time on Facebook or having video conferences on Zoom might seem the best idea for the days when you stay at home, there are actually other activities even more enriching that would make you happy.

Reading books or magazines, working on a puzzle are just a few examples: try to combine your need of staying on the phone with activities that relax both your eyes and brain.
